At MoMa 2017, we’re flipping the script. Come along to our world domination headquarters as we declare independence and invent a brave new society.

Each Sunday during market season, the Mona Lawns will transform into a testing ground—a hub for research and experimentation, exploring new ideas and ways of living. We’re giving the middle digit to the system (in more ways than one) with our very own digital currency. We are reassigning value to where it should be, rather than where the monetary system dictates. Time to put your best finger forward.

Our usual themes—culling invasive species via consumption, worshipping microbes, cleansing Tasmania’s waterways, and minimising waste—remain at our core, but they’ve undergone a twenty-second-century makeover (as can you, actually, but more on that later).

Of course, if that doesn’t power your Tesla, there’s plenty of food and drink to be had, and live music too. Plus things for the kids, arts and crafts, and stallholders peddling everything from jewellery to crockery to clothing and everything in-between.

MoMa will be kicking things off at Mofo 20–22 January* 10am–8pm then every Sunday between 11am–4pm, 29 January–16 April 2017.
